Failures ✞ Liturgical Schema
The Five Moments
The Five Moments
A votive book. The Old Church series. The breviary.
1 — Litania
Prayer by obsessive repetition. A name, a thing, is invoked many times. The repetition is the meaning.
2 — Confessione
The sinner names the guilt out loud. Not to be absolved, but because guilt exists only when it is spoken.
3 — Invocazione
Someone who cannot answer is called: God, a saint, a dead person, an absent one.
4 — Atto di contrizione
It is not just admitting: it is declaring that it hurts. The difference between confession and act of contrition is the body.
5 — Suffragio
Prayer for the dead, or for those who are as if dead. One prays for someone who can no longer pray for themselves.
Have you ever wondered if shame will pass after death?

I guess I need Suffragio (the only one I didn't know)
I was like confused unga bunga then it dawned it's a vibebuilding for the impromptu series. Ben fatto. Salvaggio Blu. Jannik Sinner. (ooof, rehashing my Italian vocab arsenal is exhausting, but beautiful)
